Silk Road
I started this blog documenting my journey toward retracing the Silk Road one day. It started with some research, a Land Rover, and lessons towards a private pilots license.
Then…life began, and I journeyed towards the Silk Road without blogging the process. Really, the outdoors is a lot more fun than a computer screen.
However, I’ve realized that one day when I’m old and wrinkly, no longer capable of wondering around, I will appreciate these memories in my own words, in the moment.
This page is the continuation of my Silk Road.
Thanks for sharing.

A colleague of mine at the game company invited me to stay with his mother in Dheli. He also offered to help me plan a trip to Kashmir, the land of beautiful mountain ranges, exotic trades, and unfortunately political turmoil.
Jack and I plan on going next year. Perhaps in place of Burning Man. We also plan on bringing our boards since word on the street goes : Kashmir is a snowboarders Shangrila.
